About us
Our mission
To introduce the Ranch Horse Versatility discipline to our local and surrounding communities. Tejas Ranch Horse Show Association is dedicated to the continued growth of Ranch Horse Versatility competition.
Building new and lifelong friendships with fellow equestrians passionate about our sport. Bonding with your equine partner to set and accomplish your goals. Providing a family friendly atmosphere is our top priority.
We are looking for and would greatly appreciate any volunteers to help on show day, fundraising, and sponsorships.
about Tejas
As Ranch Horse Versatility started growing as a sport, the Wharton County and surrounding area lacked a series where the community could grow in this discipline. A main goal was to keep the shows affordable so that it was accessible to everyone. After prayer, lots of thought, planning, and research, Tejas Ranch Horse Show Association was born.
pam livanec
TRHSA Founder
Pam fell in love with horses when her Dad would take her for pony rides as a young girl. When she married her husband, a cattle rancher, horses were part of the package deal. Wanting to keep up with her husband on horseback, she decided to start taking lessons. As her skills grew, she decided to combine her love of horses and competition and ranch riding was the perfect fit.
